Analgesic Healthcare Teams Up With Madison Memorial Hospital To Donate

Analgesic Healthcare Teams Up With Madison Memorial Hospital to Donate 60 Ankle Braces to High School Athletes

Tampa, Fla., – Analgesic Healthcare has an ongoing partnership with Madison Memorial Hospital’s Sports Medicine Program to provide requisite equipment to local high school athletes in need. This year, Analgesic Healthcare has donated 60 ankle braces to support the programs ongoing efforts to sustain its current operations and further endeavors.
The Madison Sports Medicine Program, led by Dr. Brad Codero, provides training services such as acute injury response during practice and games, subacute-rehab, and full-service physical therapy for male and female basketball athletes at Madison High School and Sugar Salem High School, both located in Madison County, Idaho.
Athletes are selected for bracing and other supports based on their history or predisposition for injuries in joint areas such as wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and shoulders. Ankle and knee injuries are the most frequent injuries that occur in basketball, so many coaches require athletes to wear the ankle braces during basketball season since to prevent and minimize injury.
“We understand how passionate young athletes are about basketball, but we also know the amount of stress they can put on their joints and ankles when they play. We want to ensure they have the proper support they need by providing state-of-the rehabilitation devices to aid them in the prevention and recovery from injuries.” said Roy Edgerton, CEO of Analgesic Healthcare.
“I have worked with Analgesic Healthcare for over 10 years. They have provided excellent medical equipment, supplies, and support for my patients to ensure patients have the highest quality products at the most affordable payment options. Analgesic has been very generous in the past. They have worked with patients whose insurance did not cover certain services and donated equipment and supplies so that no athlete goes without.” said Dr. Brad Codero, Director of Cardiac Rehab at Madison Memorial Hospital.
